Agreeing to these terms
These terms cover your use of the Complete Sparks Insulation Services website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site or booking an estimate, you agree to them, so if you don't agree, please don't use the site or book work through it.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Complete Sparks Insulation Services, and "you" means the person using the site or hiring us. If the written estimate or agreement for your job says something different from these terms, the written estimate or agreement for your job is what counts.
What we do
We're an insulation contractor in Sparks, NV. We insulate, air seal and remove insulation in homes and commercial buildings in Sparks and the cities around it. The service descriptions on our home page and other pages explain the work in general terms. They aren't a promise of a particular result in your house.
Every house is different, so the work, materials and coverage for your job are the ones written on your estimate. You can read more about who we are on our About page.
Estimates and pricing
We give free in-person estimates, with no pressure and no obligation to hire us. An estimate is based on what we can see and reach during the visit, so it covers the work and materials it lists and nothing more.
Sometimes the real condition only shows once the job is open, like soaked or contaminated old insulation, buried vents or damaged framing. When that happens, we stop, show you what we found and give you the added cost in writing, and we don't do the extra work until you approve it.
An estimate is good for the period written on it, because material prices change. Any general pricing information on this site is for planning only and isn't a quote for your job.
Scheduling, access and cancellation
We set your start date together once you accept the estimate. Weather, material deliveries, access to the attic or crawl space and jobs ahead of yours can move a date, and if ours has to change, we'll call you as soon as we know.
You agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas, keep pets secured and tell us about any hazards you know of in the house. Some foam jobs need everyone, including kids and pets, out of the house until the re-entry time, which is when it's safe to come back inside. We'll tell you the timing before the job so you can plan, and you agree to keep everyone out until we say it's clear.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, call us at (775) 447-1072 as early as you can. If we've already ordered materials for your job or started the work, you're responsible for those costs as your estimate or agreement describes. Nothing here takes away any cancellation right the law gives you.
Payment
Any deposit, and when the balance is due, is written on your estimate or agreement. If it doesn't say otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause any remaining work until it's paid. You agree to pay the reasonable costs of collecting an overdue balance, as far as Nevada law allows.
Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover
Our work is backed by our satisfaction guarantee. If something about the job isn't right, call us and we'll come back and look at it with you.
Insulation and foam products carry their makers' own warranties, and we pass those on to you as the makers allow. Outside of your written agreement and those warranties, we don't promise a particular power bill, room temperature or comfort level, because those also depend on your heating and cooling system, your windows and how the house is used.
The guarantee doesn't cover problems we didn't cause, such as later roof leaks, pests, other contractors moving or flattening the insulation, or changes made to the house after we finish.
The website itself is provided as it is. We try to keep it accurate and available, but we don't promise it's free of errors or always online.
Limits on our liability
We're fully licensed and insured, and we take responsibility for the work we do. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or follow-on losses, like lost use of a room, higher energy costs or lost income, and our total liability for any job is limited to what you paid us for that job.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit.
If we disagree
Call us first if you're unhappy with anything, because most problems get sorted out faster in a conversation than on paper. If we can't settle it within a reasonable time, either of us can take it to a court with jurisdiction in Washoe County, Nevada.
Which law applies
These terms and the work we do are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada. For a job outside Nevada, such as one in Truckee, California, any rule of that state that has to apply still applies.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time by posting a new version on this page. The version in place when you accepted your estimate applies to that job, and the current version applies to your use of the site.
