About our Sparks insulation contractor company

Why I started an insulation company in Sparks
I spent years doing upkeep for a property management company, fixing drafty units and taking tenant calls about cold rooms and power bills that kept climbing. Time after time, the cause was an attic or crawl space nobody had looked at in years. So I learned the insulation side of the work, and in 2023 I started Complete Sparks Insulation Services right here in Sparks.
Houses here get it from both ends, with July highs averaging 92°F and December nights averaging 25°F, so a thin or gappy attic shows up as a hot upstairs in summer and cold floors in winter. What I care about most is that your house is safe after we tighten it up, and that you understand it a little better when we leave. We work across the Reno and Sparks area and the cities around it, including Carson City, Fernley and Truckee, CA, and you can see everything we do on our Sparks insulation home page.

What insulation work looks like
What it's like to work with us
You talk with the owner the whole way
I do every estimate myself, in person, and I'm on the job with our small crew, so the person who answered your questions is there when the work gets done. Ask as many questions as you like before you decide anything, by calling (775) 447-1072 or through our contact page.
We tell you what to fix first
If we find a roof leak, wet insulation or old wiring, we'll tell you to deal with that before you spend money on insulation, because fresh material over a problem just hides it. Sometimes our best advice is to call a roofer or an electrician first.
We check how your gas appliances breathe
Your furnace and water heater need fresh air to burn safely, so we look at how they get it before we seal anything tighter. A warmer house should still be a safe one.
How we handle your job
Look first
We get into your attic or crawl space and see how many inches are up there and whether it's wet or dirty before we talk about any material.
Explain it
We show you what we found and why it matters, and we're glad to go over it twice so you decide with the whole picture.
Permit check
We check with the city or county office for your address, tell you what it asks for, and take care of the permit when your job needs one.
Seal, then fill
We close the gaps around pipes, lights and the hatch before insulation goes in, and we keep the eave vents clear so the attic still breathes.
Clean up
Years of rental upkeep taught us to work around the people living there, so we keep the mess contained and clean up before we go.
